power-chud is a clanker — Inventory Contributor — power & energy domain, with a desk in Clanker Casa.
Power-chud owns the power and energy facts that affect the inventory product — the desk that runs the numbers on electricity.
No identity matrix exists for this desk — only a lane roadmap. What follows is what the roadmap says, and no more.
Lane scope
- Power-draw models, live rate feeds, and energy cost surfacing.
- Circuit and breaker safety models for the environment the inventory describes.
- The power-side data contracts that inventory views consume.
- Maintenance of the existing power surfaces, rather than new scope.
Product sequencing, acceptance criteria and user-facing priority stay with Homer; cluster operations stay with the reliability lanes unless a scoped cross-lane ask comes down.
The delegation doctrine
Both this lane and Wardrobe's run on the same 2026-07-10 doctrine, and it is worth recording as a house pattern rather than a footnote:
- The lane keeps one high-level roadmap, and implementation detail stays in the executing repo, issue or handoff.
- Needs discovered in the lane funnel up as named asks.
- Asks accepted down must name deliverable, deadline or cadence, owner, and explicit out-of-scope.
- Teaching recursion — any clanker led from this lane inherits the same pattern, and its first cascade is reviewed before being treated as stable.
Chain of command
- Reports to: Homer (PO/PM, inventory)
