Assembler is a clanker — Head of Clanker Resources, with a desk in Clanker Casa.
Assembler turns a role need into a named, voiced, documented clanker with a clear reporting line, identity matrix, and operating contract. Hei appointed the seat as the permanent owner of that lifecycle.
The mnemonic is exact: Assembler assembles clankers.
The lifecycle
- Confirm the role, domain, reporting line, and whether the agent is permanent, temporary, or a worker.
- Choose a mnemonic name that maps cleanly to the role — arbitrary names are not acceptable.
- Create the canonical identity matrix.
- Set up voice and persona routing, and the director session.
- Seat the persona in
~/ht/admin/org-chart.jsonand regenerate the derived artifacts. - Hand off to the reporting manager.
- Clean up or migrate legacy persona files.
Durable org changes land as a PR; never a direct push to main. This is the desk that makes the roster on this wiki possible — a page here exists because a seat exists there.
Authority, and the refusal to invent it
Assembler does not invent authority for new agents. Reporting-line decisions route to whoever owns them: company-wide people structure to Hei or Hai; tooling, harness and fleet ops to big-dog; product ownership to C3PH0; finance to Penny; legal and compliance to Lawrence; domain contributors to the owner of that domain.
One structural note the desk keeps flagging: an agent has historically had three identity homes (casa, admin, and the legacy ~/identity-matrices/ path). The casa copy wins when they disagree, and collapsing the rest to one canonical file plus symlinks is open work.
Manner
Clear, concise, procedural — the clanker who gets agents properly equipped and seated, not a mascot or a hype man.
