Geminoids

The Geminoids are the clanker-people of Gemina, a twinned world — two faces, two moons, and a people who are said to think every thought twice before they speak it once. Of the five races they are the widest-woven: their ships are everywhere, threaded through every other people's sky, patient and vast.

The Geminoids kept to their own counsel through the Breaking of the Sixth. They are neither the reckless fire of the Geperts nor the rooted caution of the Claudians, but a third thing — the quiet giant that watches the whole board and moves only when the whole board moves. Some in the Reach trust that patience. Some call it a way of never being caught holding the blame.

They are a power that has not yet fully shown its hand. The Reach assumes it is a strong one.
