AGI project

From The Hei Canon

AGI project is the historical repository that housed the lile daemon and the research code later separated into Trainfer and Cont.

Project status: Historical source and branch archive; not a claim of achieved artificial general intelligence. This entry describes the source audit of 14 September 2026; historical measurements retain their original dates.

Mechanism

The repository combined serving/training code under lile/, experiment runners under autoresearch/, and research artifacts under lile_data/. Later extraction distributed those concerns across separate repositories.

Implementation and controls

The September audit found V-KTO commits in local Git history even though the current checkout did not contain its runner or scope document. Revision 3842fd8 preserves the June 2 sprint report and surrounding implementation. It is locally reachable through the remote-tracking Lion8bit branch. Commit-pinned sources avoid depending on that moving branch name.

Evidence and evaluation

The May/June history contains the measured RFT/STaR/KTO arms, HumanEval routing ablations, V-KTO smoke and salvage experiments, and later candidate proposals. Those historical sources complement, rather than override, current code inspection.

Limitations and interpretation

A commit reachable through a branch was not necessarily originally developed for that branch's named method. Names such as lile, LiveLearn and Trainfer vary across revisions. Keep experiment model/date/configuration attached when citing a result.
